Fitness Fusion introduces you to the healing arts of qigong, yoga and meditation. Qigong is a moving meditation that is both relaxing and invigorating. Yoga increases strength and flexibility. Meditation allows you to clear your mind and improve concentration. Please have a mat and water with you. Registration is open. Sign up in person, online or over the phone.

Qigong is a series of simple exercises designed to increase health and well being. Much like tai chi, movements are slow and fluid, allowing an inner awareness to develop. The class concentrates on the 18 Lohan Hands, an ancient Chinese form handed down from the Shaolin Temple. There will be a full body warm up followed by standing exercises designed to ease the body into movement, and simple Qigong walks. We will learn the 18 Lohan Hands through instruction and repetition and end with mindfulness meditation techniques created to clear the mind and improve concentration. Registration opens September 1 online or in person.

Qigong (pronounced chi kung) is an ancient Chinese form of exercise that is similar to tai chi.
