Qigong is a moving meditation practice that quiets the mind, relaxes the body and strengthens the spirit. We concentrate in class on the 18 Lohan Hands — an ancient Chinese form handed down from the Shaolin Temple. Please bring a mat and water with you to class. This is an ongoing pay-per-class ($20 per class) in my home studio. If you are interested in attending, please email me (dmandrakos@aol.com) for location as space is limited.

Qigong (pronounced chi kung) is an ancient Chinese form of exercise that is similar to tai chi. You will be introduced to the 18 Lohan Hands — a fluid, dance-like, moving meditation handed down from the Shaolin Temple. Qigong helps reduce stress and anxiety, increases strength and flexibility and lifts your spirit! Please bring a mat and water with you to class. Registration is open. Fitness Fusion combines the disciplines of qigong, yoga and meditation. This is the perfect place for beginners! Seasoned students will also benefit by brushing up on the basics. Please have a mat and water with you. Registration opens January 2 at 9:00 a.m. Sign up in person, online or over the phone.

Qigong is a series of simple exercises designed to increase health and well being. Much like tai chi, movements are slow and gentle, allowing an inner awareness to develop. Class ends with mindfulness meditation techniques created to clear the mind and improve concentration. Please bring a mat and water with you to class. Registration is open.
